Meet Patricia Al-Sharif
Patricia Al-Sharif is a passionate educator and community leader, dedicated to representing support staff in Tulsa Public Schools.
Campaign Kick-off
I proudly serve as the 2nd Grade Teacher Assistant at Kendall Whittier Elementary. For more than 26 years, I owned and operated a small business right here in Tulsa. I understand what it means to open the doors every morning, lock them at night, make payroll, and balance the books. As a mentor, leader, and former Affirmative Action Delegate for two congressional terms—and State Chair for one term—I know how to get things done.
Why I’m Running
Since 2020, our support staff numbers have grown from 1,500 to 2,200, yet our union membership has fallen from 549 to 515.
Our bargaining unit has weakened, and it’s time for change.
We need leadership that cares about our members, fights for living wages, and moves our families forward.
I believe a living wage builds stronger families—and I am all about our families.
